About
Scott Hughes founded the practice after formative experiences working with the masters of the 20th Century, critically including Philip Johnson. Over four decades, his work has explored the relationship between modern architecture, landscape and the particular circumstances of each client and place.
Today, Scott Hughes Architects is a close-knit studio with a remarkably long-standing team. More than 400 completed projects have grown from this continuity of people and ideas, while the practice has remained intentionally personal: Scott continues to be directly involved in the design of every project.
